De Wachtkamer, a is a stage and exhibition space for young talent in Eindhoven. It is an experimental platform where we challenge artists and performers to rethink the way art, public space and people interact.
Our first edition took place at Eindhoven Central Station, where a diverse group of artists, musicians and performers showed their work during a two-week programme. During this time, next to the art exhibition, we organised an exciting variety of concerts, performances and workshops where anyone could just drop by and share the experience.
Together with three other designers, Lucas Bakker, Lara Hekma Wierda and Jef Rouschop, I organised and coordinated the event. I also designed De Wachtkamer’s visual identity, promo and online presence, making sure that our mission and spontaneous nature were always reflected.
